Arbetets ena syfte är att identifiera gatukonstnären Banksys stil och se vilka faktorer som kan lyftas fram som "Banksyska". Det andra syftet är att undersöka hur Banksy förhåller sig till begreppet "konstvärld" som teoretikerna Arthur Danto, George Dickie och Howard Becker talar om. Efter att ha observerat och granskat ett stort kvantitativt urval av Banksys gatukonstverk valdes ett antal verk ut, som sedan analyserades genom en semiotisk analysmetod. Genom de semiotiska analyserna och uttalanden från Banksy gick det att konstatera ett tydligt mönster av färgstarka, schablonmåleriska, ironiska, paradoxala och främmandegjorda bilder utifrån den auktoritära kontext som karaktärerna i bilderna brukar ses i. Det gick även att konstatera att Banksys relation till konstvärlden är paradoxal utifrån uttalanden och de semiotiska analyserna, då han påstår sig vara ointresserad av konstvärlden samtidigt som han deltar i den..

The purpose of this paper was to examine how people experience the practice of Cannabis in daily life. The study was based on interviews with five individuals who have experience with cannabis use. They do not represent a bigger population only themselves. We chose these particular individuals because all of them began using cannabis at a young age- everyone before they were twenty. But they have been using cannabis because of different reasons.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om och i sådant fall hur fyra lärare använder sig av Gardners lärteori i undervisningen på två skolor. Skolan A är en profilskola som enligt hemsidan och rektorn medvetet arbetar efter psykologen Howard Gardners teorier om de nio intelligenserna, det vill säga olika typer av kognitiva förmågor.Skola B arbetar inte aktivt efter Gardners teorier. I studien undersöks hur undervisning och klassrumsmiljö anpassats till de nio förmågorna under fyra matematiklektioner. För att få svar på studiens frågeställningar användes intervjuer och observationer. Studiens huvudresultat blev att skola A inte arbetade efter Howard Gardners teorier vilket ledde till att resultatet istället baseras på två skolor med likvärdig profil.

Denna uppsats handlar om Suzukimetoden. Syftet med arbetet är att beskriva metoden med dess styrkor och svagheter samt att få förståelse för hur tidigare suzukielever ser på sin tid som suzukielev. Den teoretiska bakgrunden utgörs av Lev Vygotskijs och Howard Gardners teorier. Utöver litteraturstudier har jag genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med sex ungdomar/vuxna som tidigare varit suzukielever. De valde alla att sluta spela när de kom upp i tonåren. Det är deras berättelser som är studiens empiri. Resultatet visar att personerna anser att suzukitiden betytt mycket positivt för dem.

Arbetet behandlar Howard Gardners teorier om de sju intelligenserna, tillämpningar av dessa i matematikundervisning, kopplingar till läroplanen samt en undersökning om dessa används i praktiken. De pedagoger som beskriver praktisk tillämpning av Gardners teorier menar att det till stor del handlar om ett nytt förhållningssätt till undervisning. En förutsättning att anpassa undervisningen till dessa teorier är att den fysiska miljön möjliggör gruppindelning. Läroplanen ger stöd för arbetssätt som kan kopplas till Gardners teorier. Det går att läsa att undervisningen ska anpassas till elevernas förutsättningar och behov.

Gyms are populated by more and more people and there is an increased interest in wellness and health. However, there is a downside to the culture that people choose to step into. Exercise can go too far and take unhealthy directions. The purpose of this study is to examine how norms are created in the gym culture and how unhealthy behaviour is reproduced inside the walls of the gym. We have also done research about how a local gym identifies and handles deviant behaviour such as the use of doping and eating disorders.

The intention of this essay was to describe and analyse the participant's experience in a work project based on a holistic model. The main purpose of the project was to integrate homeless people back into society. My main questions were: 1. What meaning did the project have in the participant's life? 2.

Clients with dual diagnosis have difficulties to recover and have a tendancy to fall between two stools. Among other things this is due to the fact that caregivers have different approaches, values and focus. The purpose of this study is to compare how clients, therapists and socialworkers look upon the aim of the treatment, its form, residential care, the conception of goalfulfillment and participation. In our study we have applied the theories of Aaron Antonovsky, Howard Becker and Erving Goffman. The paper consists mainly of qualitative interviews with clients, therapists and socialworkers.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study is to look into how ex-offenders experience that stigmatization and labeling- processes might affect their possibilities to create an integrated and adapted life in society. It is also of interest to study how and if the interviewees experience their self-image to be affected by these processes. Our research-questions are:-          How do ex-offender males experience stigmatization and labeling-processes to impact their possibilities when trying to re-integrate into society?-          Do ex-offender males experience their self-image being affected by stigmatization and labeling-processes? If so, how are they affected? In order to achieve this we interviewed members of the organization KRIS in Örebro, where we selected males over 23 years of age with a prior prison sentence. The study is based on the labeling-theory of Howard Becker as well as the stigma-theory by Erving Goffman.In the conclusions derived from the results we found that the interviewees experience a more distinct and obvious stigmatization and labeling from authorities such as the police and the legal system, than that from other people in society.

ABSTRAKTSyftet med vårt uppsatsarbete är att undersöka hur före detta kriminellas resa mot enåteranpassning till samhället kan förstås ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv, dvs. vilkasociala och relationella hinder som de f.d. kriminella stöter på samt vilka möjligheter tillförbättring som sker. I samhället är kriminella omdiskuterade och det finns en rad olikafördomar om kriminella som också påverkas av den nylanserade databasen Lexbase. Viundrar huruvida tesen en gång kriminell- alltid kriminell fortfarande gör sig gällande.Frågorna är många men slutresultatet är det mest intressanta.
